ST. CATHERINE OF SIENA — In 1970, St. Catherine of Siena Church at 4928 Seneca St. was opened. Worshipping for a time in the old town hall at 4620 Seneca St., the congregation grew to well over 1,000 families. Closed in 2008 as part of the Diocese of Buffalo’s reorganization, the building now houses the Life Church. This photograph shows the groundbreaking ceremonies in 1968. 15p1.jpg
