Chamber, Geico partner for ‘Hamilton’ ticket giveaway

The West Seneca Chamber of Commerce and the Geico office in West Seneca are teaming up to give one winner a pair of tickets to see “Hamilton.” The orchestra tickets are for the 2 p.m. matinee at Shea’s Performing Arts Center in downtown Buffalo on Saturday, Dec. 1.

To enter to win the pair of tickets to “Hamilton,” participants must stop by the Geico office in Southgate Plaza, 1102 Union Road, or the West Seneca Chamber of Commerce office in the Community Center Library, 1300 Union Road, and drop off one or more of the following:

• A new, unwrapped Lego toy for Sebastian’s Lego Club at John R. Oishei Children’s Hospital

• A grocery bag filled with nonperishable food items to be donated to local food banks

• A bag filled with unopened dog or cat food and/or dog and cat treats and new toys to be donated to local animal shelters

For each donation, the donor will receive one ticket into the raffle for the pair of “Hamilton” tickets. Donations will be accepted at the Geico office or the chamber through noon Tuesday, Nov. 27. The drawing will take place at 1 p.m. Nov. 27 at the Geico office, and the winner will be notified by phone.

“We are extremely excited to team up with Scott Kaltman and his Geico team for this unique holiday promotion that will benefit several community organizations and nonprofit chamber members,” said Joseph Kirchmyer, executive director of the West Seneca Chamber of Commerce. “And, one lucky winner is going to receive two tickets to the hottest show in town, making it a holiday season to remember.”
