Covenant plans June 9 rummage sale

Covenant United Methodist Church will hold a rummage sale on Saturday, June 9, at the church, 539 Main St. Doors open at 9 a.m. A bag sale will be offered from noon to 1 p.m., where shoppers can get all that fits in one bag for $5. Admission is $1.

Bake sale to benefit Alzheimer’s program

Eden Heights of West Seneca will offer a bake sale from 9 a.m. to noon Wednesday, June 13, to benefit the Alzheimer’s Association. Treats will be available at the facility, 3030 Clinton St. To donate, contact Ashley at 822-4466.

Garden club to create floral, table design

Amana Garden Club will meet Wednesday, June 13, at the Ebenezer United Church of Christ, 630 Main St. The business meeting will begin at 11 a.m., with a brown bag lunch, with desserts and beverages to be provided by the hostesses. This month’s program will have each member present a floral design with functional table setting. After the meeting, members may continue to work on the new garden at the West Seneca Historical Society. New members are welcome. Call Marie at 844-8543 for information.

Strawberry festival set at New Hope Church

New Hope United Methodist Church will hold its annual strawberry festival from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 20, at the church, 2846 Seneca St. Shortcake, hot dogs and burgers will be served. Join the church for food and fellowship.

Kiwanis plans arts, crafts show, dancers

The West Seneca Kiwanis Club will hold its annual arts and crafts festival from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, July 14, and Sunday, July 15, at Town Hall, 1250 Union Road. In addition to the arts and crafts show, the club will showcase local dance studios from West Seneca.
