NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that a public hearing of the qualified voters of the Cheektowaga-Sloan Union Free School District, Erie County, New York will be held in the Cafetorium at Theodore Roosevelt Elementary School, 2495 William Street, Cheektowaga, NY 14206, on Tuesday, May 8, 2018, at 7:00 p.m. at which all interested persons will be heard.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the voting shall be held on Tuesday, May 15,

2018 at the John F. Kennedy High School, 305 Cayuga Creek Road, Cheektowaga, NY

14227, County of Erie, State of New York at which time the polls will be open between the hours of 12 noon and 9:00 p.m., prevailing time to vote by machine upon the following items:

1. To adopt the annual budget of the Cheektowaga-Sloan Union Free School District for the fiscal year 2018-19 and to authorize the requisite portion thereof to be raised by a tax on the taxable property of the District.

2. To elect two (2) members to the Board, each for a five (5) year term commencing July 1, 2018 and expiring on June 30, 2023, currently held by Claire Ferrucci and Gary Sieczkarek.

AND FURTHER NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a copy of the statement of the amount of money which will be required to fund the School District's budget for 2018-2019 exclusive of public monies, may be obtained by any resident of the District during business hours beginning Tuesday, May 1, 2018 to May 15, 2018 at the Office of the school Business Manager, 166 Halstead Ave., Sloan, NY 14212.

AND FURTHER NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that petitions nominating candidates for the office of members of the Board of Education shall be filed with the Clerk of said School District at the Clerk's office in the Administrative Offices of the School District, 166 Halstead Ave., Sloan, NY not later than April 16, 2018, between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Each petition shall be directed to the Clerk of the District. Education Law Section 2018(a) states nominating petitions must be signed by at least 25 qualified district voters or 2% of the number of voters who voted in the previous annual election of the members of the board of education, whichever is greater. The petition must state the name and residence of the candidate, and name and address of the signatures, and shall describe the specific vacancy for which the candidate is nominated.

AND FURTHER NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the qualified voters of the School District shall be entitled to vote at said annual vote and election. A qualified voter is one who is (1) a citizen of the United States of America, (2) eighteen years of age or older, (3) resident within the School District for a period of thirty (30) days next preceding the annual vote and election, and (4) is not otherwise prohibited from voting pursuant to the Election Law. The School District may require all persons offering to vote at the budget vote and election to provide one form of proof of residency pursuant to Education Law Section 2018-c. Such form may include a driver's license, a non-driver identification card, a utility bill, or a voter registration card. Upon offer of proof of residency, the School District also requires all persons offering to vote to provide their signature and printed name and address.

AND FURTHER NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that applications for absentee ballots for the purposes of voting on all propositions and election of one (2) Board of Education members, may be applied for at the office of the District Clerk. A list of all persons to whom absentee ballots have been issued will be available in the office of the District Clerk, on each of five (5) business days prior to the vote and at the polling place on the day of the vote.

AND FURTHER NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that pursuant to a rule adopted by the Board in accordance with Section 2035 of the Education Law, copies of which are available at the office of the District Clerk any referenda or propositions to amend the budget, otherwise to be submitted for voting at said election, must be filed with the Clerk of the Board of Education on or before April 16, 2018 at 5:00 p.m. prevailing time; must be typed or printed in English, must be directed to the Clerk of the School District. However, the School Board will not entertain any petition to place before the voters any proposition the purpose of which is not within the powers of the voters to determine, or any proposition, which fails to include a specific appropriation where the expenditure of monies is required by the proposition.

THE OBJECT of the above captioned action is for the foreclosure of:

Mortgage bearing the date of December 14, 2005, executed by Charlotte Bartkowiak to Citifinancial Company (DE) to secure the sum of $35,919.98, and interest, and recorded in the Office of the Clerk of Erie County on December 16, 2005 in Book: 13264 Page: 3653.

Mortgage bearing the date of March 13, 2006, executed by Charlotte Bartkowiak to Citifinancial Company (DE) to secure the sum of $15,357.76, with interest, and recorded in the Office of the Clerk of Erie County on March 16, 2006 in Book: 13280 Page: 1167.

Said Mortgages were consolidated and modified so as to constitute a single lien in the amount of $51,247.67 by agreement dated March 13, 2006 and recorded on March 16, 2006 in the Office of the Clerk of Erie County in Book 13264, Page 3653.

Mortgage bearing the date of July 3, 2006, executed by Charlotte Bartkowiak to Citifinancial Company (DE) to secure the sum of $37,577.25, with interest, and recorded in the Office of the Clerk of Erie County on July 6, 2006 in Book: 13299 Page: 5369.

Said Mortgages were consolidated and modified so as to constitute a single lien in the amount of $89,260.12 by agreement dated July 3, 2006 and recorded on July 6, 2006 in the Office of the Clerk of Erie County in Book 13280 Page 1167.

That Citifinancial Company (DE) duly assigned said Note and Mortgage to Christiana Trust, a divison of Wilmington Savings Fund Society, FSB, as Trustee for Stanwich Mortgage Loan Trust, Series 2012-18 by Assignment dated June 11, 2013 and recorded on August 8, 2013 in the Office of the Clerk of Erie County in Liber 13648, Page 4122.

That Christiana Trust, a division of Wilmington Savings Fund Society, FSB, as Trustee for Stanwich Mortgage Loan Trust, Series 2012-18 duly assigned said Note and Mortgage to Wilmington Savings Fund Society, FSB, D/B/A Christiana Trust, not in its Individual Capacity, as Trustee for Normandy Mortgage Loan Trtust, Series 2015-1 by Assignment dated February 24, 2016 and recorded on March 15, 2016 in the Office of the Clerk of Erie County in Book 13757, Page 8520.

The relief sought in the within action is a final judgment directing the sale of the Mortgaged Premises described above to satisfy the debt secured by the Mortgage described above.

Plaintiff designates Erie County as the place of trial. The basis of venue is the County in which the Mortgaged Premises is situated.
