Lions Club summer concert series continues

The West Seneca Lions Club will host a series of concerts on Thursdays this summer at the band shell behind Town Hall, 1250 Union Road. Music starts at 7 p.m.

The schedule is as follows:

July 13 — The Divas

July 20 — The Skiffle Minstrels

July 27 — Celebrate Summer Show and Lions Club hot dog roast, featuring Dean Bell Band at 5 p.m. and Terry Buchwald’s Elvis show at 7 p.m.

Aug. 3 — Carnival Kids Steel Orchestra, sponsored by the West Seneca Rotary Club

Aug. 10 — Doug Yeomans Band

Aug. 17 — The Formula Band

Aug. 24 — The Reminders

Aug. 31 — Ben Clifford Band

Those who arrive early may visit the West Seneca Farmers Market, which starts at 4 p.m. on Thursdays.

In the event of rain, concerts will be moved to the West Seneca Senior Center, 4620 Seneca St.

The 2017 Lions Club summer concert series is sponsored by McDonald’s of West Seneca, the West Seneca Rotary Club, West Seneca Woman’s Club, Sieck and Mast Funeral Home, Seneca Hose Fire Company, WNY Federal Credit Union, West Seneca Police Benevolent Association and the West Seneca Town Board.
