NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Town Board of the Town of West Seneca, Erie County, New York, at a regular meeting held on the 27th day of March, 2017 duly adopted, subject to permissive referendum, an abstract of which is as follows: a resolution authorizing the purchase of a 2017 Chevrolet Express 2500 cargo van under the piggyback provision through Chautauqua County bid E-11-14 PFTH, Group III, Item 3, base vehicle 2, at a cost of $22,374.28 with available funds in the General Reserve Fund.

The Town Board of the Town of West Seneca, duly convened in regular session does hereby resolve pursuant to the provisions of section 6-c of the General Municipal Law of the State of New York that the Town Supervisor be and she is authorized and directed to transfer and/or make payment from the Town of West Seneca General Reserve Fund to pay for this purchase.

This resolution shall be subject to a permissive referendum, as permitted by law.

The Board of Education of the Orchard Park Central School District invites the submission of sealed proposals from qualified bus transportation companies for the furnishing of transportation services for the Orchard Park Central School District. Forms for proposal, conditions and specifications may be obtained at the Orchard Park Central School District, Business Office, 2240 Southwestern Blvd., West Seneca, New York 14224.

Proposals will be accepted until 10:00a.m. on Tuesday, April 25, 2017, at the Business Office of the Orchard Park Central School District, 2240 Southwestern Blvd., West Seneca, New York 14224.

Proposals will be binding for a period of 45 days following the date of the opening.

The District will evaluate and score each proposal based on the following criteria (Total 100 points):

Previous experience of the proposer in transporting pupils (10 points)

The name(s) of each transportation company of which the contractor has been an owner or manager (5 points)

Safety programs implemented and professional development opportunities for personnel provided by proposer (10 points)

Record of accidents in motor vehicles under the control of the proposer (5 points)

Driving history of the bus drivers employed by the proposer (5 points)

Inspection records and model year of the motor vehicles under the control of proposer (15 points)

Maintenance schedule of the motor vehicles under the control of the proposer (10 points)

Financial analysis of proposer (5 points)

Compliance with motor vehicle insurance requirements (5 points)

Routing software compatible with PowerSchool student management program and capable of routine updating of student demographic information (10 points)

Overall cost of proposal (20 points)
