Niagara County Peach Festival — 58th annual event will feature more than 13,000 pounds (6.5 tons) of locally harvested peaches, along with rides, a Peach Festival 5K Run on Saturday, Peach Festival Parade (11 a.m. Saturday), Peach Blossom, Peach Fuzz contests, and Peach Queen Pageant, live entertainment, food vendors, Taste Off recipe contest and much more, Friday, Sept. 11, through Sunday, Sept. 13, at Academy Park, Lewiston. www.lewistonpeachfestival.org

Niagara Falls Blues Festival — This year’s theme is “Hooked on the Blues,” and the blues festival is free to attend and will feature music all three days, highlighted by the Fabulous Thunderbirds Saturday night.
