Bee Heard

.What is becoming of West Seneca? A person pays for their New York State license plate, so why should he not be allowed to harbor a vehicle outside a residence, especially campers, ATVs, etc?

.I’m hoping the new elected officials will take into consideration the expense for at least 18 fire chief trucks. We have a chief and two or three assistants in each district; we have six districts, and there are at least 18 of these vehicles being driven 24/7 for which we are paying for gas, upkeep, etc. The fire chief vehicles and the assistant fire chief vehicles should be restricted for use in town limits only.

(Editor’s note: The Town Board has no authority over purchases and policies made by the fire districts in town. The fire districts are independent political entities governed by their individual boards of fire commissioners.)

.How many parents know that after the cuts to the West Seneca schools there are no security officers in any of the schools in the afternoons, only in the mornings?
