Bee Heard

  • I, too, wondered why the West Seneca police moved its picnic to Orchard Park. I can’t understand; they are already running radar on the other side of Southwestern Boulevard. Maybe I should in the future mail my checks to the scholarship fund for the students in Orchard Park rather than West Seneca, if that’s what they support.
  • Is there a charge for Highway Department employees to use town equipment for their own personal use? My backyard neighbor has used this equipment several times over the last few years, and I want to be sure I’m not paying for this.
  • A special word of thanks to Ann and Robert and the West Seneca Highway Department for taking care of a problem for me. I am a grateful Cloverside Drive resident.
  • I want to commend the West Seneca lifeguard staff on a great job this year. The swim lessons look awesome, the pool is clear, and there are always guards out and about, and I love it. I hope the Recreation Department realizes what a great job they are doing.
  • I live on Mineral Springs, and the same people have been shooting fireworks for the past 10 years. I call the police and nothing is done. I’m wondering when a house in West Seneca is going to burn like it did in Buffalo, and then who is going to be responsible?
