Registration for Universal Pre-K begins in March

The West Seneca Central School District will hold registration in March for its Universal Prekindergarten program for the 2011-12 school year.

Children who will be age 4 by Dec. 1, 2011, and are residents of the West Seneca School District are eligible.

The program runs two and a half hours per day, five days per week and follows the school district calendar. There is no cost to families who participate. Parents are responsible for transportation to and from school.

Eligible children will need an original birth certificate, up-to-date physical and immunization records, and proof of residency to register for the program.

Registration will begin March 1. To enroll a child in the Universal Prekindergarten program for fall 2011, call 677-3151.
