Drivers get unlicensed operation tickets

Monday, Sept. 4

• A vehicle was stopped on Ridge Road for swerving, cutting off other cars and driving at a high rate of speed. The driver, a Harlem Road resident, produced a license but no registration. His license was found to be suspended for failure to pay fines. He was ticketed for unsafe lane change and aggravated unlicensed operation.

Sunday, Sept. 10

• A Flohr Avenue man was stopped on Seneca Street for driving with an expired Arkansas license plate. He allegedly stated he did not have a license, and the vehicle was found to have no registration, insurance or inspection. He was ticketed for operating a vehicle without inspection, unlicensed driver, unregistered vehicle on highway and operating a vehicle without financial security.
