Annual West musical alumni night set

The West Seneca West Alumni Association, in partnership with the West Seneca West Theater Department, will hold its annual Musical Alumni Night at 5:30 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 11, at the school, 3330 Seneca St. Past cast and crew are invited to a reception at West Senior, prior to the Saturday evening performance of “Mary Poppins — The Broadway Musical.” For further information and ticket reservations, contact the West Seneca West “Mary Poppins” box office line at 677-3421. Show time is 7 p.m.

Seniors review four decades of news

Today’s technology knowledge has changed lives. Many now get news from cable networks, cellphones and/or computers. Rich Kellman and Rich Newberg will visit the Ebenezer Seniors Friday, Jan. 20, reflecting on four decades of news. The Seniors meeting is at 1 p.m. and the program starts at 1:30 p.m. at the Ebenezer United Church of Christ, 630 Main St. Call 674-4566 for more information.

New Hope serves free community dinner

A free community meal is being offered from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 20, at the New Hope United Methodist Church, 2846 Seneca St. The dinner will consist of homemade chili, bread, salad, dessert and beverages. This is an outreach of the church to the members of the community. If desired, a freewill offering may be made, but it is not necessary. All are welcome.

Seniors to hear violinist Feb. 3

Violinist Peter Van Scozza will visit the Ebenezer Seniors during its February meeting to share his music with the group. Van Scozza plays and is involved with the Orchard Park Methodist Church. The meeting begins at 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 3, and Van Scozza will be playing and entertaining at 1:30, at Ebenezer United Church of Christ, 630 Main St. All are welcome to join to hear his music.
