Darien Lakes State Park - Map CT8 (Access 3 to Access 4 and back to Access 3) — This 4-mile walk is presented by the Foothills Trail Club, 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 28, meet in the small lot on the north side of Route 20, just east of the side road leading to the park entrance. May be wet and spongy in spots. While not intended to be a snowshoe hike, if warranted, feel free to bring them along. Houghton Park/Buffalo River — This 4- to 7-plus-mile walk is presented by the Foothills Trail Club, 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 4, meet in the parking lot of Houghton Academy on Clinton Street, Buffalo.
