Several upcoming events have been planned in support of Relay For Life of West Seneca, which ultimately raises funds for the American Cancer Society.

This year’s event will be held from noon to midnight on Saturday, June 16, at the West Seneca East Senior High School track.

Western New York Federal Credit Union is sponsoring a beer blast, Chinese auction and 50/50 raffle from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday, May 19, at Strikers Lanes, located at 50 Michael Road.

Tickets cost $20 each and include beer, pop, pizza and wings. Additionally, live musical entertainment will be provided by the band Strangers at 10 p.m.

The credit union is seeking donations for theme baskets or gift cards to be raffled at the event.

Now through June, bring any cans and bottles to Cans 2 Cash, located at Transit Road and Seneca Street, and ask for the funds to be donated to the West Elementary Wildcat Relay Team.
