Bee Heard
- I’d like to know how about the Korean veterans. They fought and died over there, and they received nothing when they returned home. What about Korea?
- In response to the volunteer firemen using water at their fire facility for their personal use vehicles, I volunteer at the school. Maybe I should take pens, pencils and paper that is purchased by taxpayers. Obviously, you don’t feel that is is wrong. I also volunteer at the church; maybe I should take money out of the collection basket. There again, I volunteer. Your choose to volunteer; that’s the key word. It is taxpayers’ money that fund these facilities. If you don’t want to volunteer and suck taxpayers dry, don’t volunteer.
- Regarding volunteers washing their personal vehicles at the fire halls, volunteer means giving of your time without expecting something back. It’s very heroic of these people, but they aren’t forced to volunteer.
