In the last two weeks, a total of $2,726 has been donated to the West Seneca Food Pantry expansion fund by various individuals and organizations in the community.

They are: Southgate Pizza; Marie and Bartholomew Leone; Kathleen and Robert Hauger; New Hope United Methodist Church; Lee Ann Bigaj; James and Linda Randolph; St. Mark’s Episcopal Church; Judy Grisanti; Celia Murray; David and Mary Schrum; Vigilant Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary; and one anonymous.

The pantry began receiving donations in late September when it launched its expansion fund campaign. The goal is to raise enough funds for a 1,000-square foot addition onto its Seneca Street building, formerly the parish house of St. David’s Church.

Expanding this structure would provide handicap accessibility as well as additional room to service the growing number of families and individuals in need.
