Kara Ryczek of West Seneca has been awarded the Fr. Leon Ross Scholarship to attend St. Mary’s High School in Lancaster next year.

The scholarships — a total value of more than $85,000 — were awarded to students who will be freshmen in the 2012-13 school year.

Scholarship awards were based on the admissions test, applications, letters of recommendation and personal essays.

In addition, the St. Mary’s High School Admissions Committee has accepted the following West Seneca students as members of the Class of 2016: Matthew Boehringer, Aubrey Dempsey, Bridget Herod, Hannah Luterek, Giovanna Plowman, Nicole Rudnicki, Andrew Solomon, Megan Vogel and Eric Wilde.
