LOCKS OF LOVE

LOCKS OF LOVE — Seven-year-old Megan Pitz recently donated 10 inches of her hair to Locks of Love, a nonprofit organization that provides hairpieces to financially disadvantaged children suffering from long-term medical hair loss. Megan’s hair was cut at Laura Christine’s Salon & Day Spa in Hamburg. She is the daughter of Teri and Bill Pitz of West Seneca and will be entering the second grade at Winchester Elementary in September. She was inspired to cut her hair for a good cause when her older sister, Abby, 9, did it two years ago and anticipates doing it again in about another year.
